White’s Oats is Northern Ireland’s only oat mill and breakfast producer – producers of Speedicook porridge, Toasted Oats and Toat’ly Oaty. Following a recent product relaunch, they wanted to create recognition and awareness of their new packaging with an advertising campaign (TV, outdoor, radio & digital). Building on the brand positioning message – ‘we take the time, so you can make the most of yours’, RLA successfully pitched and won the account.
The creative execution was all based around the Agency’s strategic concept – “Good days, crafted by Whites”. Using a combination of live action and animation, we visually portrayed how starting your day with White’s oats, gives you the energy you need to make the most of your day. The music was also composed specifically to work in time with the animation and build the feeling of energy and craft.
The 30 second commercial will be running nationally with prime time viewing on UTV and Channel 4. The campaign is also being supported by a burst of digital and social media activity. To help drive engagement, a series of competitions building on the advertising theme ‘Make today a good day with White’s’ are being run via www.facebook.com/whitesoats
