When Q Radio Network added Citybeat to its portfolio in 2015, RLA created a contemporary new logo and brand identity that would set the contemporary, fresh and modern tone we wanted to convey.

We then developed an advertising campaign to launch the new network – using photographic images to show the key ways we listen and enjoy Q Radio – whether through a radio set, in your car or through the app; later introducing shots of people ‘in the moment’ listening to the station – showing the sheer joy of how it makes you feel.

To celebrate the playlist, we used graphic lightning bolts that housed the names of the main artists that Q Radio would now be playing on the stations, reflecting the vitality of the station’s music policy.

We showcased the campaign through creative media solutions utilising outdoor, press, digital and social media channels; and a bespoke fully wrapped Adshel unit, that played the station live in the street. The campaign generated positive feedback for the station, reinforcing them as a serious contender in a competitive market place.
