RLA developed the brand logo style and proposition Relax, it’s Sofatime. The brand promise comprising reassurances on service, quality, and value for money.

RLA reviewed the other sofa and furniture advertising in the market place and noted a prevalence for single sofa, on white, with red price/discount – leaving little creative differentiation in the eyes of the consumer.

The response was to use colour backgrounds complementary to the branding and deploy the headline – in this instance SALE – as “relaxing” cushions.  These letters were animated in the TV to create cut through and sat as prominent visual elements in print.
